Covolo has been a well known area to some of Europe's best climbers for years. This climbing area hosts some of the hardest routes in the Italy. Sitting on the southern slopes of the Asiago Plateau, the wall is just above the small Hamlet of Covolo. There are no facilities in this town and please respect the parking area and utilize the marked trail to reach the wall.
In the past years a few new routes have been bolted on the lower left part of the crag, that are easier and offer a good warm up. The center section has some of the hardest climbing in the region. You need to ensure you have a 70 meter rope for most routes, and the overhang makes recovery challenging. Be ready for a big swing near the bottom or have your belay climb to clean the route, MAKE SURE YOU PLACE A KNOT AT THE END OF YOUR ROPE:
