Grotti is a limestone cliff, but it has multi-colored rock and many times it is as the sun has baked the rock to create clips and flakes. When I first climbed there I was a bit concerned about the quality of the rock and waited for a hold to break, but all the routes were solid and interesting in style. The rock does consume the skin rather quickly so it is not the easiest place to climb multiple days in a row.
