Veneto Region Rock Climbing Guide

AL FALCONI ROCK CLIMBING AREA VERONA

A newer section of the Ceredo climbing area. Offers several good climbs and good for all year round climbing.  Combining the old Ceredo area and this one makes a good two or three day visit.

Getting To The Site

Once in the town of Ceredo, a good place to park at the "El Gavinel" bar  here you can find some climbing info and have a coffee. From here continue north for 100m, then leave the main road going east on an easy path (#257 CAI). After about 10 minutes the cliff is on the right as you go descend along the path down.

A Few Note To Help You Plan Your Road Trip

The cliff faces north-east, so it gets sun in the morning. A first sector (from "Thank you Silence" to "Sun and Moon") remains in the sun until about 12.30, while a second sector (from "Fotti il Fotografo" to "Ecstasy") the sun goes away by 10.30 - 11. So "Ai Falconi" can be climbed all year round and even after long rains.
