ADVENTURE TRAVEL SUGGESTED PACKING CHECKLIST

If you travel to Italy for a bike tour or hiking trip, or perhaps an adventure in South America you should carry some basic items to ensure you are fully prepared.  Sometimes we forget how guickly nature can remind of us our weakness as human, and traveling to a cultured country makes this even worst.  Before you take off on your next adventure be sure to review this list for things you need to remember.

Travel documents

  • Passport
  • Photocopy of first page of passport
  • Entry visa (or required paperwork)
  • Other photo ID
  • Currency (valid at destination)
  • Trip itinerary
  • Flight confirmation
  • Hotel confirmation
  • International health card with immunizations
  • List of key phone numbers

Packs/luggage

  • Travel pack
  • Duffel (or soft-sided suitcase)
  • Day pack or waist pack
  • Neck pouch (for passport)
  • Money belt
  • Camera bag(s)
  • Computer bag
  • Dry bag (for wet clothes)
  • Internal organizers and/or stuff sacks
  • Resealable plastic bags
  • Luggage locks (TSA approved)
