Sicily offers several climbing options for anyone visiting the area and wants to add a few days out on the rock.  Or throughout the region there are plenty of sites developed so you could do an excellent road trip around the island for one or two weeks without a problem.  With plenty to do on rest days and with the mild winters this is not a bad off season destination, and summer climbing is not as bad you as you would image you just need to adjust to alpine starts and late evening climbing, but with plenty of beaches nearby that is not a bad thing.  There are always new areas being developed and older ones cleaned and refitted.
