ZANE, VICENZA PROVINCE

Once part of the municipality of Thiene, the township of Zanè, VI is a turn of the century manufacturing town. The prosperity it has enjoyed is reflected in the five marble altars that grace the beautiful Baroque parish church.

You might find yourself riding through the area as you transfer from Berganza and the foot hills of Asiago over toward Schio and the Piccolo Dolomiti.  This zone of Vicenza is the hub of the industrial zone.  So traffic can by busy during commuting hours. 

There is a new road being built in the area to reduce heavy traffic and it should be complete in a couple of years.
