This ancient town sits at the base of the Tomezzo mountain and close to the branch of the Posina and Astico rivers. The area once served as a customs point for the Trentino boarder. The area what completely transformed during WWI. Arsiero is now a tourist centre, providing a good base for trips into the mountains (Laghi and Posina to the west; Tomezza and Lastebasse in the Valdastico to the north).
