VIE FERRATE IN THE CIVETTA MOUNTAIN GROUP | DOLOMITES
There are 3 vie ferrates found in the Civetta Mountain group and all are at high elevation and difficult. Civetta is the mountain group that the 6th grade for aid climbing refined in Italy. The mountain is very compact and dynamic, very much worth exploring. The best location to start or base yourself is either Alleghe, BL or Agordo, BL, towns that can be reached by the Dolomiti Bus System. The advantage of Alleghe is that you can utilize the ski lift system to get up into the high elevations quickly.
