Lastebasse is one of the last township and community you will come to as you make your way up the Valdastico valley.  Lastebasse is located near Passo Somma, that separates the Piccolo Dolomiti from the Asiago Altopiano.  There is a nice ski resort in the pass over near Lavarone, great mountain biking in the summer, and several old Italian and Austrian forts left over from the late 1800's and World War 1.  Lastebasse is part of the 100km mountain bike trail area of Folgaria.
