Guide to the Torino province The province of Torino was renamed in December 2014 and is now known as the Metropolitan City of Turin. It covers an area of 6,830 sq.km and borders France to the west, the region of Aosta to the north, the provinces of Biella, Vercelli, Alessandria and Asti to the east and the province of Cuneo to the south.
