Tonezza. The road north out of Arsiero leads up through fir, larch and beech-woods to Tonezza. The town was one the settlement for German miners and woodcutters, today it is a mountain holiday resort. The Cimone, “big peak,” hovers over the town and offers many relaxing hiking trails to enjoy. The area host many patriotic events of the Great War.
The road up from Asiero is a classic bike climb and a must do.
