MONTE PARODI FROM PASSO DELLA FOCE BIKE CLIMB

Monte Parodi sits above the city of La Spezia, at the southern point of the Liguria Region.  One of the classic ways to the top is taking the state road up to Passo della Foce and then continuing to the Peak a the 634 meters above sea level. This route has been utilized in the Giro d'Italia and some of the local Gran Fondo.  The ride is 11.6 km and has an average of 5.4% grade.  There are a couple of sections of 11% in the lover switchbacks but over all this is a very rideable route if you are exploring the area.
