Water ways around Padova - Bike Route

The city of Padova, Veneto has been very active in designing bicycle friendly routes and paths throughout the province.· One of the paths you will find information for at the tourist center next to the train station is the route around the city.·

The route is 47 kms depending where you start the route.  The tourist information directs you to the southern point of the route at Ponte Bassanello and then riding clockwise following the old canals and rivers.  The route is all paved and well marked and in some sections you will share the road with traffic but it limited during most hours of the day.  The easiest way to get to to the start point is to ride straight through the center.
