This town was once a stopping place on the ancient “pedemontana” road running along the foot of the hills. After Roman times it was owned by the Benedicines and in more recent times has become a pleasant holiday resort. The beautiful parish church of Sant’ Andrea is full of art. Also there is the villa Angaran delle Stelle to visit.
